SUNN COLLISIUM CABINATES FOR STAGE MONITORS ??? MY FIRST BASS AMP WAS ONE OF THOSE CABS POWERED BY A 300 WATT SUNN COLLISIUM HEAD. PLAYED A FEW GIGS WITH THAT RIG BACK IN THE DAY.
I can tell someone pointed the tripping yeti out to that Hell's Angel.
Wonder how many were on acid
Wie schön er ausgesehen hat. Diese Seele ,, das war der Anfang. Aber diese Seele diese Stimme wird es leider nie wieder geben
I wonder if the Acid Tripper ever saw this?
Now I'm in love with this song, thank you what we do in the shadows ❣️
Witnessing the end of the counter-culture on video.
Sex education gave me this gem 😂
They were in a bad situation...caught between a rock and a hard place! What a horrible, sad event.
That late 60’s backdrop is the perfect aesthetic for this track Woke up with this song in my head this morning, had to hear it
Only it's the 80s, apart from the footage of Hendrix. Unless you think they had those cars in the 60s or ppl begging who have 'AIDS', a typical 'ok zoomer' comment. Still, at least two others who don't pay attention or have any idea what the 80s looked like gave you some likes, and that's what matters isn't it.
Can’t believe it’s over.. 🥺
"Since you been gone it's hard to carry on" still resonates
Les Hells qui devaient faire le service d'ordre et qui poignardent ce pauvre Black, ignobles Hells !
2025 here we are
I was 16:when this concert took place. I lived in New York City then where I was born and raised. Spent 37 years there. Used to see the Stones in after hours joints. It was wild !
Grew up on classic rock. ❤ Did al lot of acid laughed with friends. The world was a happier place back then. My town is Nazi Gangs now.😞😞😢😭😭
That guy in the corduroy jacket that is totally tripping out of his mind looks exactly like a friend of mine that I let borrow my truck and he wrecked it one hour after I let them borrow it
The incident really transformed the Hell's Angels, turning them from what many saw as a gang of criminals into somewhat of cultural icons. This shift happened after one of their members was involved in the tragic death of a black teenager. It’s pretty unsettling how this aspect of American pop culture has remained largely unchanged over the years.
Ronnie - Happy New Year 2025 - the world misses you so much❤❤
1:55 That biker looks to be on a textbook Bad Trip.
Hell's Angel with his bike front stage center. Why! Sonny Barger, Mr. Hell's Angel's big squirt, spews his cartoon shit subsequently, (see the Movie), talking about how "Their bikes got messed up" and how Jagger was a fool, etc. F_ucking retard.
It ain’t right, man
Well, I heard several covers of this song. So far, Ronnie is still 1'st place.
It sounds like the take down of Meredith Hunter happened before the song began. That's why the organizer was asking for an ambulance out to the scaffold. The ambulance can be seen at the end of the movie airlifting Meredith Hunter out of the concert. This is why Mick keeps singing "I pray that it's alright" (not normally part of the song).
Hunter was stabbed as soon as the song ended, just as shown. I don't know where you get the idea it was before. He was wielding a gun and got stabbed afterwards. Nothing was edited to show it out of order. There were other incidents that happened during this event that had nothing to do with Meredith Hunter.
@@ValleyoftheRogue So you're telling me you were there, standing next to Meredith Hunter when he pulled out his gun and was stubbed. You were listening to the Rolling Stones finish their hit song "Under my Thumb"? Okay, then. Films are edited out of sequence all the time. That's how films work. Also, it sounds like Mick says, "something horrible has happened", but the line is (mostly) edited out of the movie. What other ambulances were flown in to the stage??? People always assume movies are shown just the way they were filmed, in real time. They are not. This is just as true for documentaries.
This song played at the end of the series finale episode of What We Do In The Shadows on Hulu. I like her voice.
What a complete package. Saaaawweeeetttt! 😎
Thank you! I just have 1 thing 2 say “homophobia kills” 😢
great voice, and my vampire family will be missed
Man The Rolling Stones were resilient, they played like shit at Hyde park, had a disastrous festival here at altamont and it didn’t break them and they maintained their position as one of the top rock bands. That would’ve broke so many bands
Who found this because of the amazing TV series. What We Do in the Shadows? I can't believe it's finished 😭 It lead me to the voice of this amazing person & I am so sorry to learn of her passing! ❤️✌🏼🎶🎬 BAT
Me.I just watched the last episode of What we do in the shadows.I just discovered it about a month ago and it quickly becames one of my favorite shows ever
@jaydee0187 excellent isn't it. So many laughs 👌🏽😂
@@michaelbell5238 It's hilarious 😂
@jaydee0187 I am going to watch it right through again, after I finish watching *Barry. Nadja is my favourite 😍 her potty mouth & dumbfoundidness is amazing & her lines are phenomenal 😂
I came here after the ending of what we do in the shadows!
OMG me toooooo!!! 😃

Les années 70...
I always wondered what ever happened to my man that took to much LSD 🤔
I am sure he is deceased. To my knowledge, he was never publicly identified. This was 55 years ago, so the attendees, if alive, are in their seventies and eighties now. I was a freshman in high school, 14 almost 15 then, and almost 70 now and this crowd was decidedly older than I was. There were few who attended this concert who were children. The Hells Angels at this concert were on average perhaps a decade older than most of the audience, so few of them are alive today.
Not much has changed since then. What a briljance. The bass, wow. The lysics, just perfect. Who is listening in 2024?
Bill's bass line on this is EPIC ,man!
NEVER HEARD THIS VERSION. I LIKE THIS!!❤❤❤😢😢😢God bless your memory and God rest your soul, Ronnie BENNETT.
the spirit of the sixties dying on four mins of video
That one guy is tripping hard he’s ready to explode
He was on some bad shizz by the looks of it.... was probably unpleasant getting thrown off stage my hells angels... yeesh
Phil spector ex☆●☆●☆
4:10
Wow. She was special. Listening to her book Be My Baby, read by Rosie Perez, and it’s incredibly sad how that psycho Phil specter ruined her life and how she got away from his sadistic control, but she found her way back. This song enabled her to gain confidence and determination and strength to pull herself back up. God love her. She was so talented. Rip dainty little girl with the beautiful voice. 🌹
Satanic Under my Thumb❤
Getting the Hells Angel's to run security? What could go wrong?
Pretty naive on the Stones' and others' part. The UK version of H.A. were at the Stones' free concert at Hyde Park, London, in July, and there were no problems, but they weren't anywhere on the level of the outlaw, original, California H.A.
2:04 sounds so cool and sinister
The pitch wobblyness along with the slower tempo, Mick's darked out eyes, the audience looking not comfortable at all, the guy on acid and the unfortunate event at the end makes this footage very sinister. My favorite version of Under My Thumb ever
Perhaps the darkest recording ever made.
There's any number of drugs fella may have taken. Let's not jump straight to conclusions abiut him taking LSD . It could've been any number of things going on with that guy.
This is the rock era's version of the Zapruder film.
"I pray that it's all right" - No, Mick, it really wasn't.
I'm here just to hear this song .what is the backstory of this concert ,somebody get hurt ?
@@desertraider8628a man in the public was stabbed at the end of this song, the whole crowd was just very high and the conditions of this concert were very messy and overall its reminded as a disaster in organization. Altough the Stones got out of there safe
@@ricardocalmza thank you ! I actually looked it up lots of mini documentaries on RUclips about it . What a crazy story. I wanted to listen to a live version of this song ,best version I heard but wow the back story
It’s pretty funny the dude freaking out on acid is just thrown into the pit😂 like “not our problem anymore”. Definitely made the trip worse lmao
Every school student must watch this clip to witness first hand the dangers of hard core drug use.
